Packet PickupYou now have (2) options for picking up your race materials:
Digital Timing StripsWe use digital timing strips for the mud run. With this technology, we will be able to track each individual runner and team captain with accuracy and precision. We will have race times posted shortly after your race. REMEMBER AWARD MEDALS GIVE TO TOP 3 RUNNERS IN EACH CATEGORY SHORTLY AFTER EACH RACE. DON'T FORGET YOURS IF YOU QUALIFIED. All individual 5k runners and team captains will receive a bib that has two timing strips attached to the back of the race bib. DO NOT REMOVE THESE STRIPS. In order to receive an accurate time, please make sure your bib is clearly visible on the front of the torso and is pinned on all four corners. Your bib should be unaltered and unmodified (do no fold or wrinkle) and should not be covered by jackets, runner belts, water bottles, etc. Remember, you must wear the bib in order to have your time tracked properly. Do not lose the bib with the timing strip in the mud pit! Note: You must pass over the magnetic black mat at the finish line wearing bib that has the timing strip; otherwise, you will be disqualified.
No Need to Turn in Your Race Bib but You Will Need to Show at Chow Hall to Get Your Free Meal. All race bibs can be thrown away after the race as the timing strips are disposable. Finish Line ResultsWe have contracted Queen City Timing, Inc. from Charlotte, NC to handle the finish line results. They will be tracking all runners with the champion chip racing system. This is an ID computer strip that is attached on the back of the runner's bib. These strips track individual runners (including team captains) and supply us with accurate race times. Using this system provides fast and accurate run times. In fact, we can get the results to you shortly after the race. |
